No sane player of any job has wanted any of the recent changes.

Did I want PLD to remove its alternative combo and dot timer management which was core to its job, also having two different burst cycles... No.

Did I want AST to remove its card system, two different stances between barrier and regen No.

Did I want MNK to become "press what lights up!!" No.

Did I want these awful black mage changes that come off the back of some pretty bad changes in 7.0 No.

At this point as much as we complain theirs nothing we can do I genuinely think the only answer and response is to find a game that respects peoples investments into jobs, instead of taking that away and simplifying every job that is slightly unique.

At this point what's even left, they've ruined every job slowly black mage was the last remaining hope and even that was slightly diminished in 7.0 what's the point of being invested in this combat system that doesn't even respect us in the first place.
