So you're telling me that people wanted to resub for 7.2, did so a few weeks earlier due to FOMO (seasonal event gear), and are now not getting any meaningful content unless they sub again? After getting 1 dungeon and 1 alliance raid in 9 months?

So you're telling me that people go to this much effort to be strategic based on predicted dates without also checking the predictions of what content will be included?
In any case, if they're only subbing for one month and letting it lapse again, that means they've only got a relatively short period of subscription in the new trial to get through MSQ, trial, EX trial, raids and probably Savage depending on exactly when they renewed their sub. That doesn't sound particularly devoid of content to me.
Then they still get MSQ, new dungeon, trial and raids, and they're probably going to have the same issue of less content available than they're ready to consume regardless of when they start.
I don't do savage either but i don't think that stops it from counting that is made available in this patch.
I wasn't going to renew my sub till the 25th (It goes off on the 1st) and was like "Well Cosmic Exploration at least would be coming out on 25th so may as well not miss out on seasonal gear and just re-sub early).
Cancelled sub now though, if this is coming out on 25th then 6 days will be more than enough time to do everything it brings, usually just need a few hours.
Sadly a lot of people only keep their subscriptions on fear of losing their house in game and this is an awful feeling which is precisely the only reason I still have my subscription. 5+ months for any update as far as content goes is a bit rough which might only keep you busy for 1 month then you're stuck with "What do I do now?" for the other months. Sure I could cancel my sub and walk away but you'll only drive more people off with that kind of response.Defend the billion company? Where? A subscription service wanting you to continue to pay a subscription is how subscriptions fikkin work.
The fact whether you decide the service is worth the cost of the subscription, that's up to you. If not, then you can cancel the subscription, and thus no longer have to pay it under the understanding you can no longer access the service
I knew American schools were shite, but damn.
Cute picture, tho. Might use it as my sig. Don't mind if I cut it down a bit? Don't want it to take up to much room.
...and yet another 4 month of waiting for the raidplan function. i like when they are trying hard on thing like this when we already have plenty of solution.
I mean, it's no wonder you're being attacked. You basically defend SE current practices, which was not the norm few years ago. And you should know that, you're also registered since 2013.Defend the billion company? Where? A subscription service wanting you to continue to pay a subscription is how subscriptions fikkin work.

The current practices are sort of terrifying. We're being drip fed with fomo content, seasonal events and mog station surplus. Best example that comes to my mind, the random 10min side quests that got released in 7.15? patch. It has such an unprofessional impression.
And let's be fair on one point. Players who aren't raiders, will be done within a week. You'll run the dungeon, the 8 man trial, the new extreme for 2 months until new battle content arrives. The novelty of the basic-formula content wears off pretty quick.
you have savage and unreal too for a month and then cosmic exploration.I mean, it's no wonder you're being attacked. You basically defend SE current practices, which was not the norm few years ago. And you should know that, you're also registered since 2013.

If you don't want to do cosmic you can unsub for a month and come back on .25.
I agree with some content being drip fed is annoying esp 7.1 was bad but I think its totally fine for .2 with the amount of content.
