That's nothing unique to SE. What you're describing with "departments, procedures, and approvals" is literally every software developer.

I understand that as I said. But it causes a problem where these big companies cannot do things that a single developer can do on their own. They are so tangled up in all these procedures that it stifles progress, and it's one of the things that contributes to all the criticsm SE gets.

I have seen developers that are much faster and have the agency to just add or fix something quick. It would help them to decide what should go through these procedures and what should skip them or be fast-tracked.

Wish there was a function to pause your gametime for whenever you aren't playing. I think someone was talking about, I heard China has somekind of timebanking system like that for MMO's

Guys..., last Live Letter I decided to stay away from the LL's in the future. It's always the same, and it's boring. They are strechting stuff und too much time is spend with just merch and similar things.
If you planned to watch, maybe consider to spend your time with something that brings you more joy and then later watch Meonis summary video on YT. This is in english and on point. Save lots of time.

I really loved to get to know the latest FF14 news together with other fans. But for a long time every LL was a disappointment for me, and a snoozefest. :/

They do, that's what a hotfix is, but you can't do that with larger features. What you're describing sounds nice until one of those tasks that skipped procedure or was fast-tracked causes a game breaking issue, or runs afoul of some legal or compliance requirement, or any number of other problems. I don't disagree that corporate bureaucracy is a pain and things could be made more efficient but generally the procedures are there for a reason.

We continue to get drip fed content because heaven forbid that making a choice as to what content someone should engage with first is actually presented.

You can still focus on one thing at a time. The content wouldn't be going anywhere. All this does is prevent people who are currently BORED AS HELL from having to wait EVEN LONGER for the content they sold the expansion on to us.

Honestly I don't get why everyone has to suffer because of people like you who can't seem to prioritize content themselves and require insane delays to force them to do content in a specific order.

If their goal was actually giving us one thing to focus on at a time, they would release the content over the course of a few weeks, and not over the course of a couple MONTHS. The latter, unfortunately, is just them trying to gobble up as much sub time as possible.

I will never understand the demand for Chat Bubbles. I truly just don't get it, and it mind-boggles me every single time I see it come up. I just fail to see the overwhelming appeal.

In a way it's nice, and I feel nostalgic in a way seeing them but it's not something I personally need in the game
I can also imagine how crazy it might get in more populated areas

So I hope if/when they implement it, they make it a toggle which I'm sure they will because it should be simple
