Current state of Viera and Hrothgar

I get it, I get the urge to play as Lalafell ever so often just because I miss hats
This wouldn't happen if Hrothgar and Viera had hats
It's a bit of a conspiracy theory, but I think they keep Viera/Hroth hatless just to rake in more fantasia money

I wish SE would just very clearly state "We will never give hats to Hrothgar and Viera" regardless of the reason behind it. It is the "working on it" and "please look forward to it" and then nothing happening, that bothers me the most. If it wasn't for that, then I could make an informed decision that I could be happy with.

It's been like 5 years. People who play Viera or Hrothgar have to accept you're likely never getting the glamour options of other races. It's up to everyone to decide if the trade off is worth it. The fact that DT artifact gear hats and new cash shop items don't even work shows it's not a priority.

I can only speak for myself, but Viera and Hrothgar are the only 2 races I like/had characters who I got very invested in. I have waited for so long to be a Female Hrothgar that the hat situation is a minor inconvenience, Like a small bronzer stain that somehow got on one of my socks. Inconvenient, but not worth changing my socks over.
In addition to that, I only like wearing tiaras and crown-like items, so the hat issue would never bother me. I like my characters more than any hat in the game. And genuinely, when I see a cash shop outfit that I can't wear, it's good for my wallet, cause I won't buy it. Unless like with the Eastern Lady Errant's Attire which I love all the pieces and use often (those gloves are to die for!!!), but that was my only exception.
I want hats added for people who want them; I like more customisation. However, I personally have no stake in this matter and will never change my Hrothgal.

This is exactly it. If SE comes out and says "It's never happening" then I'll pursue other avenues of hatting my cat, but it's the constant edging and teasing of "We're working on it guys!! Any day now!!" that really annoys me.

I'm curious. Mind linking to the latest available official source where they say they are working on bunny and cat hats? I haven't seen news on it recently.

Extracted from an interview Yoshida gave. They also mentioned it during one of the live letters prior to 7.1 but I don't remember exactly which. It was a passing comment (as usual) about how they're "working on it when they can" and to "please look forward to it". Pretty much admitting it's nowhere near a priority for them at all

Well, I'm looking forward to getting Modern Legend and Great Lengths for Female hrothgar in 7.2.
Getting those styles has got me thinking about switching back.

I am going off the theory that female hrothgar are following the patch cycles of Viera hairstyles.
Viera got them in patch 6.2 so 7.2 female hrothgar should also get them.
