A side note for the Chocobo tho. Learning healing skills is important but most people ignore the Chocobo Stances and that's where most of the utility comes from. Putting your Chocobo in healing Stance will force it to stop attacking all together and spam Chocobo Cure once it's been learned. In Free Stance it will only focus healing once you drop beneath 50% hp and will still use some of its time attacking and possibly die to aoes it's standing in while doing so. Try to make sure you actively switch your Chocobo's stance depending on what you need and you'll get way more bang for your buck out of your companion. Even attacking stance will stop it from using a useless healing buff repeatedly if you aren't taking damage.

You have to run away, or you die a lot, but are doing the solo msq content? Something seems to be going wrong here because normally the things you need to fight in the msq by yourself won’t be too strong for you. Are you forgetting to use gear that’s around your level, or maybe you’re trying to fight higher level enemies in the world than you should be?

DPS jobs in this game aren't tanky, and for MSQ purposes play a Tank job.

This shouldn't happen, check you gear is up to the level.
Are you using the skill rotation correctly, you do not have to be perfect
Are you doing the mechanic right, listern to what NPC say, they give hints what need to be done during the MSQ.
The only time I remember I have issue with MSQ was after a long break and I am very undergear or I miss the cue from the NPC and done something wrong

I thank you all! ^^ Also I've added back what I removed from my earlier post.
I didn't pay attention to what the NPCs said! That's why I die or they die! Dang. Thank you.
I will remember to use Chocobo stances. Thank you. Also, my gear is okay and most of it is up near my level. But I think I need better gear update. Thank you for the advice!
Also, I think I'll level Ninja and Dark Knight. They're both so cool! Depending on what I need to do, I can switch between both. Thank you for the advice. ^^

Leg Sweep off cooldown first and foremost if the target can be stunned, you'll find out after you use it if they can be. Long cooldowns like Shade Shift and Second Wind second. Finally, Bloodbath. By the time you cycle these in most 1v1 situations in the overworld at least one will be back up if used efficiently. If you're getting pulped it's either a gear issue, or you're trying to fight a zone/world boss FATE or on-level hunt mark. Don't do either of those. You can also use relevant health potions for even more sustain. Relevant food also helps with the increased Vitality and substats letting you take 2-3 more hits and kill things faster on top of the 3% exp boost.
Finally, progress through ARR and you'll get a notification for the quest "My Feisty Little Chocobo" which let's you use your bird as a combat buddy in the overworld. Spec it into the healer tree, yes, even if you're playing a healer it's useful. You can eventually finish all three trees but healing is by far the most practical since it helps far more jobs to survive solo than the other two.

Is this that ffxi meme?

Thank you Chip793. Also, Burmecia, I wish stealth in FFXIV is like FFXI.
