    Sadly, these kind of Twitter-based screenshot contests are more about being free advisement for the game then anything else.

    That is exactly why these things happen on Twitter, and not on the Forums like they used to. Its free publicity. And so long as a social media platform has a certain amount of users, it will always be attractive to a company.
