Me and my friend DPS roulette leveling healer has a macro on cure where he's throwing chubs at who he heals. xD

the tank feels uncomfy because the healer keeps throwing fat chubs at him xD

It was an all around smopoth run but we called the healer out and the tank called him chubins I hope those dudes are doing well xD

Are you unfamiliar with the concept of venting? And if you actually read, it gets close to 1/4 stories are either good things people wanted to share or people telling on themselves for doing something dumb.

Nah MMO is always going to have toxic communities, and I think FFXIV could say is already on the good side.
The only time I see toxic player is in savage unsync and expecting to quick easy fight skip mechanics.
Most of the time in DF, as long as the content got clear no one care, since it is very unlikely you will meet the same player again in DF.
This thread let you blow off some steam and you can go back queuing in DF with better mental health, and sometimes laugh at yourself for some silly mistake.

Why. Just why. Why did you spam Physick for your healing for nearly the entire dungeon when you have so, SO many other tools at your disposal? Our GNB, despite me on MNK and the SMN pushing everything to kill the trash packs, very nearly died even after blowing every available cooldown, even Superbolide. You stood there spamming Physick or Broil, and most of the time you would interrupt your own Broil to cast Physick.

Physick is one of the worst heals in the game. Please take it off of your hotbar, and please read up on your skills and tooltips, as you seemed to have an understanding of Expedient but really nothing else.

Also please upgrade your book. If you were wondering why your Physick spam wasn't sustaining the GNB, please understand that a 570 book negatively impacts your healing in a 97 dungeon. Yes, your 3 Concitations, when you actually cast them for those times you somehow managed to find the button, gave yours truly a nearly invisible sliver of shield. When you actually decided to cast Adlo and it crit, it covered less than a quarter of the tank's hp.

Dealing damage is part of a healer's job. Doing damage is future healing received. Please help with damage so the tank does not eat so much damage from the trash packs instead of spamming Physick.

All I wanted to do was get in and get my weekly mogtome stuff done on an alt.

Cutter's Cry, went on WHM because lately I can't trust random healers to actually use Esuna for the second boss' dot. It pops pretty quickly, and I get a GNB BRD and SAM for the rest of the party.

BRD is either single-targetting packs and not using their procs, standing in silly and not using Peloton/songs. The entire. Dang. Dungeon. SAM seems very new to their job, and has an idea of Higabana and keeping their Jinpu buff up but not their Shipu buff up. GNB has seemingly no idea what Sprint is.

Things are going fairly well (SAM ate a self-destruct) and the big soldier ant add decided it wanted to clip and flip through the floor in order to cast something. After the first boss I thought the GNB was going for the skip as they were pulling all the way to the first Shifting Sand and looked at it. I clicked and went through, however since the mobs were right on their tail, the teleport got interrupted.

"Oh." I said in realization.

"Didn't let me through." the tank replied.

"Gotta hit Sprint before you tag them to get ahead far enough." I advised them, referring to when they want to skip and jump through, leaving the mobs behind for future reference.

"Makes sense." the tank replied.

Suddenly our star of the show, the songless bard, pipes up with an accusation: "lol u guys r the reason prechanged lol"

I was completely thrown off by the terrible spelling and accusation. Prechanged? We're not prepartied.

"Huh?!"

Wha-why are we talking about Praetorium when we were talking about skipping mobs in Cutter's Cry since the GNB was attempting it? It was so far out of left field and took a minute to realize what she was referring to during the second boss that I realized she's an idiot on top of being a terrible lvl 95 bard.

Honestly I came in when they made cutscenes unskippable in Stormblood. So I wasn't even here for that kind of shit. It got changed much later again to allow duty support because bot ai isn't the brightest of the bunch.

So to that bard, don't assume other people are the reason why things have changed.

Insulting someone directly because of a mistake is toxic. Ranting on your own, or venting on a topic like this because you're tired/annoyed is not.

Or any kind of complaining is. A friend of yours is moaning a bit about his partner because he's been tiring lately? TOXIC. Do you nag about a colleague's behaviour behind their back, because saying it to their face wouldn't do any good, but you just have to get it out? TOXIC.

Finally did the first set of Arcadion just before 7.2 dropped.
Forgot I had bgm muted the entire time (it was set to like, 3 anyway, so not like I'd've heard it)

Had a run today in Qitana Ravel. I noticed the ninja was far away from the fight. They were only doing ranged attacks, which was weird. I noticed they also hung back a lot as we made our way through the dungeon. And they would randomly run around during the fight and about twice died because of it. On the final boss they kept angling their target on me. Was weird af. But I was their only target, no one else in the group. So I have to assume they are all friends and were certifying the nonsense. Even when I stayed back after the duty ended to gpose with the npcs they remained, like they were specifically there to watch me or something. Weird creepy trolly behavior.
