They originally said that Hrothgar and Viera were the last races to be added. But then they got pressured by the community to add Male Viera and Female Hrothgar. At the time of that, they said that although it would probably be the last, they may be pressured to add more like they were with the Male Viera and Female Hrothgar.

However, it would probably take posts with hundreds of replies like those did for it to happen and it makes the process of developing gear even more taxing because of having to adjust it for more races, and obviously they still haven't managed the hats and customization options.
