I have no idea how you found out I used to work at EA, but yeah, that was a long time ago, i was actually one of the first involved in developing the microtransaction and ad systems back when that whole model was still taking shape, it was definitely a learning experience, but that was years ago, and my ideas have changed, these days I just want to see FFXIV thrive.

I hope they are trolls, but for anyone seriously thinking that us being milked for more money is going to equivocate to more content or better designed content in this game... I really don't know what to say.

It'll just get funneled into other half-baked projects, that are too busy treating gameplay elements like an assembly line, rather than coming up with something substantive and meaningful.
