Zero gear on FFXIV Store

Not surprised. It was expected but is still disappointing.

That's fair. I'm extremely disappointed with the fact that the gear is full of "technical limitations" and they're still charging real life money for it. I feel like real money for a full outfit with no separate gloves/shoes AND yet again no hroth/viera hat is a much bigger cause for concern or surprise than it just being in the shop in general. The laziness is actually criminal.

Those races are only 5 1/2 years old. They'll definitely give full hat compatibility to viera and hrothgar any month now.

i dont think people have an issue with it being added its a fact its a msq line and its locked in mogstaton they have an issue with

and yet i remember clearly yoshi stating back in the day when they launched the cash shop that it was for items exclusively made for it. but welp later on they started adding npc outfit/hairs in there instead of you know : gold saucer (which would make way more sense)

What's crazy to me is how much they sell that isn't account bound. That alone should be criminal. There are so many games that don't do that. The only other game that does it that I'm aware of is GW2, and in that it’s tied to a premium currency that is earnable in the game. It's still crap, but it's better than giving them more money on alts.

That's another big complaint I have with the mogstation
Other games have cash shops yeah, it's not anything I'm not used to, but the fact that a majority of these items are not account bound is ridiculous

Also it's a shame that if you happen to accidentally discard a piece of gear you paid real money for, you can't get it back from the recompense officer or whatever NPC has the past event gear. It might be the calamity salvager but I don't remember

Dracthyr like Worgen have a "Azeroth form" (aspect) as well so you can gear them as you wish when not-in-combat.

Then they add the hair, "oh boy, if they add the hair too then surely they put the effort in that everyone can buy those two things and wear it all."

But nope, even with the hair added the hat as usual is not for Viera and Hroth.

If I gotta use "dark magic" to even wear hats then I sure am better off using it too to wear the outfit instead of paying for it.
