    Isn't it make sense to set up a main base before we set out to explore the unknown? and in case you miss it there's a text at the top of the stream saying they will be talking about it more in live letter part 2.

    Also anyone mind explaining what "nerfing normal raid before it went live" mean?

    They said the new trial had mechanics that were too hard in the normal version so they removed some. That was the trial, not the raid series. They didn't say anything about removing mechanics from the raid series.

    And this isn't nerfing something before it went live. It's them testing their content and adjusting it to the difficulty they were going for.

    Which to me is a good thing (sometimes we will have to see), I think normal raids should be slightly more difficult then the first tier but at the end of the day we want Normal raids and dungeons engaging & fun, more then outright difficult where it's going to be hard for most people to clear. I do worry a little bit that they may have gone too far, but we can't really judge it until we see it.

    I don't want to praise DT for much right now, because theirs not a lot right now, but I feel as if the normal/dungeon content have at least had good and engaging boss fights.

    It's just a complete misnomer to claim something is nerfed before it's even out. I'm sure they have added/removed/adjusted tons of mechanics in a variety of content while designing. They just happened to mention this singular time that they knew the mechanics were going to be more difficult than they were going for. The OP apparently thinks your first design must be the absolute final version and you can't update or refine anything as you go through the process apparently.
