Do it, YoshiP. Put the Necromancer as a Phantom job along with the rest of the exclusive jobs.
Something is better than nothing

can go right into the same basket with the phantom job changes they have said are coming.... one day
#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE
I found it funny they're including the jobs that were in the GBA (I dunno if they were in the original Steam and/or Mobile versions) but not included with the Pixel Remasters.
Was sad when I learned they weren't adding the GBA content to the PR.
This content has the potential of being very fun! Think about it, we have 20 jobs and each can have access to (so far) 6 phantom jobs! That would give us 120 potential variations!

Can't wait hopefully it's good.
I think they should also add this sort of system to casual content.
Bozja is the best content in the game. Further refinement will make this Crescent Island a smash hit.
Beastmaster phantom job please. Would be nice to wield a katana and have a faithful pet by my side.
I love how RuneScape of all games manages to avoid every problem yoshi p claims is a problem with necromancy
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
You mean mechanically or narratively speaking? Because in terms of narrative I would assume the lore and how the world works would make a huge difference.
Mechanically? Fair enough, I don't know enough about Runescape to argue that.
Narratively, but a narrative that would actually work in 14
The hero will only use the souls of those who are willing to lend their power to the hero via a form of ritual communication where the hero communicates with a well of souls not unlike the aetherial sea. And the number of souls they have willing to lend them power determines their strength
