BlueSky is such a horrible platform. Unoptimized. Janky. Search functions barely work. Hashtags don't work. Mute/Block and curating a timeline of what you're interested in hardly functions. It's basically a D-List X/Twitter by Temu. It is never going to rival X, take over X or become a go-to platform. Hence, why major companies will not leave X. Cuz guess what? Millions of their customers use it.

To put this into actual facts and statistics

X's monthly user count : 541.56 million monthly active users (as of 2023, probably has had normal growth since)

Bsky's monthly user count : 27.44 million monthly active users as of 2025.

That says enough as to which platform to focus on.
