But sorry OP, we are all playing the same game version, and having the normal stuff be even less involved than it already is, starts to undermine why the game even exists in the first place for the majority of players. People with disabilities aren't lesser humans, and accessibility options are important, but the game itself cannot cater down so low that there stops being any discernible gameplay. A shooter game requires shooting, a racing game requires driving, and this one requires moving and using skills. If one cannot do it, maybe one should rethink if that's actually the right activity to spend one's limited time with.
I'd suggest part of the issue many people are facing is that PvE has become increasingly more difficult. I understand that at some level it's desirable that it does, but the usual argument that people get better simply by playing the game is IMO misleading. Sure, one gets to learn a greater array of mechanics, markers, and skills. But with the DDR philosophy getting faster every expansion, the skill floor is simply overtaking some players.

In a vacuum I guess this is neither good nor bad. But the practical upshot for an increasing portion of the player base is that they have invested hundreds of hours into the game, successfully clearing base content, and now they cannot. I think in a game known (until recently) for its compelling story, this is pretty brutal for those getting left behind.
