imagine having a bit of talent and coding the thing in a way that if someone use the dresser you can't move it, yeah imagine. what a revolution and not doable by a small indie company

Thats an non issue - just put it into the FC workshop, unmovable, fixed instance where you can change things. Make it a company rank up + 1.000.000 credits, call it a day. Bonus round, place one into the entrance of Apartments as well, just next to the moogle.

Can I ask what is the point?
That makes no difference from just going to Inn at all.
Inn is far more stable than FC workshop.
Not only you can log out in Inn, it is also accessible by everyone

I will proudly necro until the feature is added.

I also don't believe that excuse from Yoshi P. We can already place a summoning bell which loads up to 8 retainers with 140 inventory slots each, for a total of 1120 items (not including crystals) which is more than the max capacity of a glamour dresser. Multiple players can use it simultaneously, and moving it causes zero problems. Not to mention the FC chest.

Even if it were impossible, which I don't believe is true... just make it immovable while in use. There are many ways to address the supposed issue.

That's what known as an (admittedly major) bug. It can definitely be fixed. They just don't want to put the resources into fixing it.

Glamour in this entire game is a complete afterthought by the devs, despite it being one of the major reasons people play between content patches.

I can't remember the details, god it's been so long...but I seem to remember that:

IF
1) The glam dresser is being accessed AND
2) Someone moves a piece of furniture OR
3) Someone else ALSO accesses the glam dresser
THEN
A) Server A'SPLODE

(I think YoshiP explained it that it loads every single piece of gear at once, per character. And that moving it is like moving 1000 objects at once..or something)

I still think the solution is easy:
1) Add it to workshop
2) Make it so "You can't interact with this while someone else is using it".

Alternative:
1) Make an entirely new room you can purchase called a wardrobe. Inside looks like a clothing storage, and has a glamour dresser. It's instanced to individuals so everyone enters a private version a la Inn rooms.
2) Add an upgrade to the wardrobe for a "Greenscreen" stage/background area for posing.

Can I ask what is the point?

You can do so in your FC and dont have to run to an inn just for that? if you log out at an inn every day, good for you? Many ppl are at their apartments and houses...
