Because it is no longer talked about does not mean that it has ceased to exist, it is still out there and is continuing to collect data. So it won't necessarily take another replacement, the original is still there. The epitome example of fixing the symptom rather than the cause.
It won't take long before another unknown party replaces the gap left by this policed tool and resume collecting the internal account ID that's somehow readily available client-side, w/ any packet interceptor tools, then we're back at square one.

You are correct, it's still out there probably. Just not publicized anymore. I'm just saying that one probably don't even need this original tool when there are other more wildly known, more established packet sniffer tools out there that can be used to pick up the same value.
If there's anything consistent from this incident, apparently SE allows us to stalk, just don't be stupid and upfront about it lol.

Friendlist removal is still one way, right? You are correct, it's still out there probably. Just not publicized anymore. stalking in real life is creepy and a big issue, "stalking" as in following/looking someone in a VIDEOGAME, which btw, you can blacklist and permanently remove the character of your sight. I mean, you can theoretically be "stalked" on any games online but it's just a toon ffs as long as your IRL info is safe idgaf, they can follow me as much as they want
