baaaaah........Yep, I agree, but everyone is different, and does everything differently.. its just when something first comes out and the content doesn't allow you to do it because of a certain set-up, then you have to wait 2 weeks to a month before getting a chance to do it. Thats my 1 and only gripe with class-stacking or a certain set up.
.....baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
..... *eats grass*
......baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah
Then don't cry when you're excluded from content.. every content isn't going to made to be able to beat by ANY type of setup.. and you're only hindering your own abilities as a player to be just LNC ONRY!! Cause I would pick someone who can add diversity to a group and not be a liability cause of LNC ONRY.
As far as class stacking, I don't get what all the fuss is about. This game is designed for you to level multiple classes. You can't blame anyone but yourself if you're not getting included in groups because you haven't leveled what said group is looking for. If you want to be X class for Y content but can't find a group that will allow you to do it then form your own group. It's not hard. /l and /sh work just fine for me.
also, grats to BG. Keep doin' what you're doin'.
It doesn't really matter if shells release videos any more. The given answer these days is "Did you make sure you had the correct combination/number of Black Mages, Warriors and Bards in your group"?
My signature is edible. Go ahead, try some.
you can bring one of each to Coincounter/Mistress/Princess/Chimera/Ifrit/Moogle/DH and Garuda and still come out victorious. Mad?
Well essentially there are two options. And, unless one of the developers has a stroke of genius and finds a solution that previous developers in the genre haven't, then these two options will be all you have to choose from for a while.
1. Tune encounters around class stacking, so that they can provide the appropriate level of challenge.
2. Tune encounters around being challenging for various compositions of 8 man parties, and have groups stack certain classes trivializing the content.
Other options outside of those two have an even more drastic impact such as, homogenizing the class system so that you can take any comp and still tune it to be difficult. Then everyone is the same, inside raids and outside.
You could design an encounter where every class was required to play a certain role, but that would, in the end be worse than class stacking. Every group would be forced to look for one of each job. What if you and your friend both enjoy playing LNC? Now you can't raid together.
So pick your poison. There's not really much room for choice here.
The only confusing behavior in this thread is BG bothering to respond to all the stupid comments. The stupid comments themselves have long been the sad standard in any endgame-related thread on these forums.
I have nothing better to do while I wait for the others to wake up ; - ;
completely relevant as you don't need to stack BLM, BRD or WAR to win anything in this game.
