X is not a free speech platform. Musk bans whoever makes him mad.You are already engaging in trying to control a narrative and showing your Bias. This by default makes you untrustworthy. I merely alluded that X is a place where you can find all kinds of opinions, from things you don't want to see and read about to things that are very curated and safe, depending on who you follow. I wouldn't equate lack of moderation with fascist doctrine personally, quite the opposite. Oppression tends to be associated with censorship and moderation whereas freedom does come with exposure.
It is eye opening people don't feel this way when it used to be common sense.

All platforms have bias, and while X is not free of it, it does have a different approach than the other ones available in the US. Hence, it is important in its own right, to provide balance.
As for the value of having an XIV official account there, I don't know that bluesky makes commercial sense.
If I ran a business I would probably focus on the most massive platforms with the greatest number of users.
This is not a company's priority, it's to make money. And marketing works best when you can reach the biggest possible audience.
Below we have a transcription of what Naoki Yoshi-P Yoshida said at PAX:
- "For some players, like me, I kind of get sleepy because it's so repetitive."
It seems to me whenever a Political party loses the election in the US, they are mandated by law to try to replace social media sites with their own alternatives.
Twitter is shit and Bluesky is the truthsocial of the left.
People are asking if SE can make an additional bluesky account. People who primarily use Bluesky just want an alternative way to follow FFXIV on social media. In your own words, this way they can reach the biggest possible audience. It does not take much more effort to run another social media account along with the current dozen they already have. All platforms have bias, and while X is not free of it, it does have a different approach than the other ones available in the US. lmao I can't believe people are whining about how SE shouldn't post on BlueSky because it's just a libbie echo chamber. So? Go advertise the game there too. Every socmed is an "echo chamber" with this logic. Every algo wants to show you relevant content you like so that you stay and keep clicking. Each one develops a different culture over time, but you can always find diverse voices in each if you go looking.
Feels like I'm back in the 2012 4chan vs Tumblr wars when I actively went on both just to find cool fanart.
