So I had an idea how to reform glamour

but- we're a long way off what players really want! and that's the ability to wear anything on any Race/Gender/Job. there is even a massive forum thread on this topic that is STILL alive years after its inception.

But why don't we have this already - well the reason is because of the gears stats. they can make all gear for all jobs because of its stats. So how do we fix this. Well the new glamour system is the key.

so here the new idea : put the item into the dresser, and it turns it into a level 1 all race and all gender and all classes piece of gear. and if you take it out it reverts the piece back to its original form. This would be a massive undertaking,. and i accept that. but honestly.. ITS A MUST.

This could pave the way for letting us put job gear into the dresser as a set, and removing its restrictions on classes. Im sorry yoshi.. i know you want class gear to be FOR THOSE CLASSE. but the players DO NOT WANT THIS.. so if they do not want this... who is this for?

Meanwhile the mobile game getting picture previews for their glam and are able to pause or framescrub in animations for portraits and it hasent been even half a year since it was announced

While the outfit thing is NICE, and am glad we have it... the way it was implemented feels like something we would have got back in ARR or HW, not the 5th expansion of a 10 year old game.

Yes please. And I really don't understand where the problem is. This game tracks all sorts of things already. If they can track for hundreds of recipes if you have crafted an item before then surely they also can add a glamour log.

PLEASE. GW2's dye system would be lovely, too. At least for non-premium ones. God knows there's no way SE will hurt any cash cows.

There is no need to transform it to a level 1 glam or anything, and the stats doesnt matter if its in your dresser, just remove the restrictions the glam has the moment you add it and done, thats it no need for anything else
