Honestly, please no. The actual races in game are already full of problems. At first they should polish what is already there. Fix old races problems and new races limitations. Why are Elezen necks still so broken? Why female Elezen still have shoulders like a bodybuilder? Why male slim light skinned midlander have no belly button or chest texture? The list is very long.

I will never understand, why male midlander Hyuran still have the worst options, the worst emotes, the worst body textures, the worst voices options, really bad race specific hair options and so on.

... they are all in all still a low quality race....

How can FFXIV posterboy WoL's race be a midlander and at the same time that race in game is so low quality?

Next is just my personal opinion. Before they add another monsterous race, they also should at first make it possible to play a handsome male elegant character, who is not tall. A type and bodytype like we see in almost every Japanese (or in general Asien) series.

Next race will be the Meteions

The only cosmetic option is Meteion. There's many Meteions running around. You can't wear any different gear, but you can dye yourself. It applies the dye to the whole body.
There's rumors of a Golden Meteion, but nobody has seen her yet. All Meteions have flight unlocked in all zones right away. All Meteions get access to the new exclusive housing district in Elpis.

If they can figure out how to do it with their system I'd love to it and the original Au Ra. While not 'unlocking' like allied races in WoW as that would be a problem given our one character approach (unless they change it), I would think we could get a lot of cool second takes. Like Vivi / Mammet lala, Demon / Succubus Au Ra, Lupin, Highlands that found their eyebrows (and even more bulk!), Galka (tails on dem Roes), etc. Minimal animation work could make it faster. Again assuming they can figure out the other components. If it's a herculean amount of effort it sounds a bit scarier lol.


I'd also really like to see morph sliders, so you can add tangible bulk, skinny, thicc, etc. Make your Hroth stand up right or hunch. Like how you think of some Korean MMOs, but also Bethesda or other similar character creator menus. The hope with it being a morph being that the armor has minimal effort as it too morphs (and would 'usually' look okay).

Hrothgar were a mistake, we should have gotten rat girls instead, replace nyallo of miqos with cheesed to meet you of ratgirls

we already have the furry race and they are Hrothgar haha and most people who want to play one will use mods and moon to be one since the devs do nothing against those at all.

and I also agree before adding a new race they should fix the old one and allow Hrothgar and Viera to wear hats and also you know punish people using moon and mods instead
