Hi, I'm glad you think that forum post is good critique. I found some of it to be insightful, including in the 'negative' part of the post. However, too much of it is incurious and dismissive of the text. I like criticism that interprets and explores why something worked or didn't work, and I dislike criticism that reads as venting as it tends to linger in superficiality. Too much of it was the latter to my taste. There you go https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...-full-spoilers for one on this forum. The very first post of OP goes in really good detail.
Other than that I would give you the videos from Preach and Zepla for story and Mr Happys "state of the realm" for status on content delivery.
But I am pretty sure you already know those exist.
I don't mind if you don't respond. You can think of me however you'd like, that's perfectly fine. But consider the attitude from others I've had to deal with here, how easily some people got hostile, and how so many people here seem to view that behavior as acceptable.
You claim to be attacked while out right dismissing what everyone else here has been saying for superficial reasons yourself.Hi, I'm glad you think that forum post is good critique. Not true. I don't engage in discussion with rude people. When people are not rude, I talk with them evenly. The post you're quoting is evidence of that.
Dawntrail was great btw. I gave myself plenty of time to play through it and went through the first half in several weeks, doing side quests as I went along. I can't relate to the claims that it was slow paced, maybe because I took my time to enjoy the story and did other things when I wanted a change of scenery.
"you guys are all wrong dawntrail is great you're all just wrong !!! i liked it its great !!! !!!"Not true. I don't engage in discussion with rude people. When people are not rude, I talk with them evenly. The post you're quoting is evidence of that.

also you
"why is no one being constructive with me ?? why are people so rude ??"
I didn't ask anyone to be constructive with me and I didn't ask why are people here so rude. (I already know why.) I've been pointing out how people are being rude and in response people continue to be rude. Which is pretty funny.
Btw your post has the air of that meme "it's too late, I have already depicted you as a feeble victim and myself as the noble chad" which is really entertaining given your ongoing behavior. That said, I don't think it really contributed to the topic of this thread. Please let's get back on topic for the next one.

You have been dismissing people throughout this thread. They present facts, you refuse to acknowledge them. You dismiss what they are saying because you percieve the tone of their posts to be "negative, rude, unconstructive." While being Just as obnoxious in response to them. If you want to play the "Bigger person" you shouldn't even be engaging with them at all. Instead, you're deliberately fanning the flames of all the people who you percieve as "rude, unconstructive, ect" by calling them out and wording your posts with such a pretentious, and haughty tone.
Honestly I would think you're just here to troll at this point instead of having a productive conversation with anyone here.
When someone has presented a fact I have addressed it. Typically their interpretation of the fact is not my interpretation of the fact and I disagree with their interpretation. Not agreeing with an interpretation is not the same as dismissing it. I don't engage with every point thrown my way but nobody here does.
I don't think I've called anyone here "unconstructive". I don't know why you brought up being constructive several times like that as if that's something I'm asking people to be.
I'm not going to engage with anything else in your post because you're being rude !! In your post you said it's best not to engage with rude comments because then I'd be the bigger person, but tbh I've been openly sticking to that policy for a while now and you chastised me for it and called it dismissive. I'm not sure what you want so I'm going to forge my own path !!
Anyway once again to get back on topic, Dawntrail was great. I like the trajectory the story took and the feeling of unease surrounding certain elements that remain in the story (the endless, the regulators, the key). I would have liked that unease to be greater emphasized in the climax of 7.0 but I'm glad 7.1 is jumping right back into it.
If you're not going to engage with my post because it was rude why did you reply into the first place? Just proving my point about your real intentions here. When someone has presented a fact I have addressed it. I pointed out why two communties were fighting, (On a seperate thread) and multiple people took that as me suggesting a course of action, like that the Hardcore players should be responsible for carrying casuals, and that I somehow wanted harder content to be deleted. Reading comprehension = Still a problem.
