Just because you're over it doesn't mean it's not still true. We all know the circumstances under which 2.0 was developed. It's not reasonable to take this attitude."Spaghetti legacy code" is the excuse we've been hearing for multiple expansions. I'm over it.
If the ARR devs were so bad at their job that it is now impossible to make changes as simple as 'apply the 'all classes' flag to this piece of gear', then it's time to drop another Dalamud and remake the game.
No, it's much more likely that SE only wants to commit as minimal attention as possible to FFXIV to maximize profits. Those dead-on-arrival NFT projects and half-baked PS5 games have to be funded somehow.

Ha.
If this game were entirely free, then yea, it would be unreasonable. If it were one dude in his garage busting out code, I'd be the first to give a standing ovation for how far he's come.
But I paid for an expansion and continue to pay a subscription fee, to one of the largest faces in gaming in the world. I'm unsatisfied with my purchase. They show no outward intention of fixing the problems with their product.
Personally, I think being upset and critical should be the default here.
