Eyestrain thread - https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/501914-Dawntrail-Graphics-Update-Eye-Strain
People enjoying an expansion (for whatever reason I might not understand) doesn't have any immediate consequences on the rest of the players.
Running Duty Finder while being handicapped immediately forces other 3 players to carry you and your egotistical decision.
They're not even in the same dimension.
Then again, I'm talking to someone who plays to get a hold on as many houses as possible, so I shouldn't be expecting better from someone who actively contributes to being a problem for the playerbase, as houses are scarce as they are.
That's a hilarious idea! With Sphene inside the meteor going "Wuuuuuuuuuuk"! xD
I'd feel bad for the devs, but... I wouldn't be against it. I'd be more interested in lengthy side stories in earlier expansions instead of another Dawntrail. It would be great to go on a proper adventure with characters like Midnight Dew from Idyllshire or Magnai from the Steppe.
Nice pile of assumptions there with your headcanon. You need to take a look in the mirror and wake up.People enjoying an expansion (for whatever reason I might not understand) doesn't have any immediate consequences on the rest of the players.

You're exactly what you claim you aren't, and it's hilarious.
You literally said you leveled up alts for housing. You need to pipe down, lol.
It definitely should not be mandatory. It's good having the option to not do them.
Not everyone intends to use a job class and not everyone intends to level them beyond what is needed.
For one firsthand example; In my community of housing builders, we do not unlock jobs because it is a waste of time for an alt who is never going to do any content past hitting the mandatory 50 requirement
Make a forced tutorial window pop up at level 30 or whatever, but there is no need to force peoples hand because some minority group just didn't know
And you made an assumption, as I said
Tell me more about how making alts to add rooms to my FC house is
Sit down. You know far less than you think you do
Well if they just want to look at the short term, they will fail long term.
2 year offline to upgrade an engine that will help them last for another 15 years, isn't that a worth trade-off?

I've dealt with enough "housing enthusiasts" to know. Specially those who're strongly opinionated about a game they hardly play outside the residential district.
And even in the scenario where you're not yet another one of those who take up entire housing districts, you still haven't made a single link between making Job Stones mandatory and erasing an entire expansion because it was bad, even though you brought up this here and not in the other thread. Nor did you bother countering the point made in the previous thread.
Why?
Because you're simply full of it.
Because your post is hypocritical nonsense.I've dealt with enough "housing enthusiasts" to know. Specially those who're strongly opinionated about a game they hardly play outside the residential district.

This is what you said:
Just because you don't understand the gameplay options and implications for the difference between class and job stones, does not mean it's worthless"There is this thing I don't like and I want it removed"
I've already had to contend with people who wanted to erase Field Operations and Blue Mage just because they didn't like the content. No. This line of though is idiotic and, if you have to be a special kind of moron to unironically believe we should delete an expansion that hasn't even finished just because Wuk LMAO exists.
I speak out about it because the removal would directly impact mine and my friends last remaining fun things to do in the game, just as you'd imply with Field Operations and Blue Mage
