I've read plenty of complaints and criticisms over the last 6 months, and none of the ones that stood out for me ended up with someone being called a "bigot, transphobic, etcetera."

The only thing I can vaguely remember was something about voice acting. Which I haven't found to be a problem in this game, except I preferred the original English-speaking talent of A Realm Reborn. I got used to the new talent after about six months of Heavensward.
You've read plenty and haven't seen it? Okay? Read more.

Reading comprehension alert: "I've read plenty of complaints and criticisms over the last 6 months, and none of the ones that stood out for me...". is not the equivalent of "haven't seen it".

Instead of turning casuals away or not liking them instead maybe u could help them learn mechanics

I don't think anyone's actually turning casuals away.
This is more of the case that casuals "won't accept higher tier content locking them out of stuff". Meaning that it's casuals that's trying to deny high-tier players content that satisfies their needs for harder content.
High-tier players are simply trying to defend their right for content that they enjoy. It's not their fault that the game designers put rewards that casuals might cry for.
If casuals wants to learn there are already plenty of practice groups going around with the goal of, guess what, practice and learn the mechanics.

This is not only happening in FFXIV, a lot of games there are "casuals" crying out whenever content they "can't do" is added.
Casuals might be the majority but they aren't the only ones playing and a game should have something for everyone. Sadly that means there's content that casuals might not be able to do. There's nothing wrong with a game designed that way.
It just means that everyone can have something to do instead of denying parts of the community something fun and engaging.

    "git gud" Isn't help?

Jokes aside, I feel like most raiders who are there to raid just want it done as quick and clean as possible. It fits that goal to just "turn casuals away" and raid with other raiders instead of teach the mechanics, more often than not.

It's not the content locking them out though. It's other members of the community. Casuals are also trying to defend their right to do content. Strange take to... blame casuals for rightfully so feeling unhappy when they're looked down upon for not being as skilled as raiders?

If it's only other members of the community that's the problem then there's a quick fix for that, don't play with such individuals. Make your own groups and tackle content.
No matter the content, game, whatever there will always be people who might have something to say regarding other people.
And no "real raider" looks down on casuals because they aren't as skilled as them. There was a time when they themselves had problems tackling raids and they know it.
If anyone's looking down on others because of it they do so because of other reasons. Most likely because they think it's fun. You know, bully mentality.

No offence, but it's not my responsibility to teach others how to do mechanics or play their job. That responsibility falls to the developers, and frankly, they’ve failed spectacularly. The MSQ, normal raids, and alliance raids do little to teach or even encourage players to learn their jobs properly, let alone prepare them for challenging endgame mechanics.

It feels like the developers are almost afraid to tell players how to improve or guide them toward playing more effectively. I don’t blame casual players for not knowing these things - I put the fault squarely on Yoshi and the rest of the development team. That aside, there are player made guides for every encounter in the game, use them.

Don’t get me wrong, I do help my friends clear fights and teach them their jobs and mechanics. One of my good friends progged Savage and even cleared M4S in week one this tier, I was incredibly proud of his progress since ShB. But I’m not going to do that for random players I’ve never met.

Defunding the outreach program for troubled casuals before it even began...

Joking aside, the game has been consistently simplified to the detriment of the hardcore fanbase. Literally as easy to go to youtube and google "How to play X job, Hector M1S guide" is all you need to get you through the first turn.

    This is "literally" complete nonsense.
