The expansion is really not that bad that this needs to happen.

If anyone thinks it is, then I'm sorry, but it could be so much worse.

People being put off by "pacing issues", "lack of battles", "talking to Wuk Lamat too much because they skipped sidequests", "lack of character development" is not even close to how bad some games have made their expansions or sequels before.

At worst, the expansion is just "meh, next expansion?"
