I forgot to mention in my previous post that AMD CPUs, particularly Ryzen processors, are notoriously sensitive to RAM speed and perform much better with faster RAM versus Intel processors. Getting your RAM speed and timings set properly may even give you a noticeable performance boost in applications like gaming with your Ryzen processor.

I thought that too, but some modular PSUs will kill power if it detects a device is trying to draw too much power as a failsafe.

You mentioned there was a strange noise with your GPU fan? Are you sure it's not coming from your power supply? Assuming the other games you play aren't more power intensive, I've had issues with dying power supplies that sound somewhat similar to this situation. Seems like it could be a power draw issue cascading to a driver error especially if it only happens with higher resolutions. Don't suppose you could share the error message, if there is one? Apologies if you've already shared it and I missed it.

I'll also say that my last PC build used the exact same video card and it worked fine with less powerful components than you have. The only issue I've ever run in to were power supply related.

Edit: Having done a bit of testing on my end the resolution does cause some significant power spikes during the title screen/login process. If you could try reducing the game's frame rate while increasing the resolution and seeing if it still crashes that would be a more clear indicator of whether it's the power supply.

i cant tell if its GPU or PSU, doesnt happen all the time, but i have to keep powering down until it decides not to, otherwise the noise wont go away after a few mins, my PSU is pretty new.

you might be on to something there, first i set FPS to 30 then i went back to my highest windows resolution being 1920 x 1080, the game was fine until i put it back to FPS 60 cap, the game instantly crashes.

if i just use 1 screen it gives me the error but maybe its still not getting enough power from my 750W PSU.

this might also explain why my PC gets black screen if i use 2 screens, regardless of which screen im using, if i use both at the same time and 1920 x 1080 and FPS 60, causes the GPU to need so much power until it gives up then forces my pc to self reboot.

Yeah if I were to guess it's very likely to be a power supply issue (or it's a faulty videocard... but since you said it had trouble on the last videocard too, it makes it less likely). I recall that when I ran into similar problems, it was with a brand new power supply (I admittedly went for one of the cheaper ones.) Thankfully, out of all components, a new power supply tends to be one of the cheaper solutions, and even if it doesn't turn out to be the faulty component it doesn't hurt to have a spare around. If you didn't have an 80 plus bronze certified power supply already, I'd recommend that (or better). Here's hoping the new PSU will fix the issues because otherwise I'd be stumped.

Bronze is the lowest quality, Titanium the best.

    Cheers

Just a rating/industry standard for expected quality. I imagine your system would get along fine even with a 650w PSU so 750w should be more than fine.

Seasonic is known for its attention to making quality PSUs. I did have one that died (probably as a safety measure) but they typically have a 10 year warranty because of how confident they are in them.
