Why do casual players seem entitled to cosmetic items added in game?

Do think hardcore raiders even care about the hairstyle? I doubt it, I bet most hardcore raiders who get the hairstyle will put it up on the MB to make an easy 50 to 100 mil of gil.

HUGE assumption. Pretty much everyone who plays the game cares about how their character looks. Just because you paint with broad strokes and assume everyone thinks like the 3 streamers you listed does not make it so.

Another issue about locking a hairstyle behind a savage level of content is forcing ppl who may not even want to do this content to do it and that leads to PFs being a complete nightmare bc you have ppl who never did hard content before jumping into pf parties hoping to be "carried" so they can get the hairstyle.

There's lots of items in this game that I want but chose not to engage with the content for. I love the PVP glamours but I hate the content. You don't see tons of people complaining that it should be available for everyone, people just accept it as such. PVP is a perfect example because the Cloud hair exists.
