A job who doesnt need change and buff like picto. It feels good to play and be ping friendly with single weaves.


Hard disagree. Not only is having the ability to raise part of their class fantasy (RDM moreso than SMN), but there's no reason why a DPS class should only be able to DPS--having different ways to benefit a party makes for varied and unique gameplay, something WoW learned in the womb and continues to use to great effect. If anything, remove Embolden/Searing Light, plenty of other jobs have raid damage ups already.

If Verraise is the keystone between clearing and not clearing, maybe practice on easier content...?

Not a problem with Raise, Yoshi's underpaid job devs should maybe balance better? Instead of implementing something as brain dead as DPS tax, something which continues to affect jobs that it shouldn't? (COUGH MCH COUGH COUH)
Also disagree for the same reason as above, let different jobs have different ways to benefit the party.

Only way I'd accept RDM/SMN losing their raises is if they add healer specs for them or an option to turn off their non-role support skills for higher dps when out of battle.


i feel like there's a lot of former wow players coming in and wanting it to be like this and frankly i'd rather have homogenization rather than god comps/only being brought for 1 (one) specific skill you have like bloodlust


the most sane way of dealing with caster rez is: having rdm/smn rez be on a long cd like the blu rez and also apply a debuff preventing them from being rezzed by another rdm/smn again
Somehow, they made PVP more interacting/fun than the base game.
It's unbelievable that at level 99 you still have some skills animations from ARR (level 10) and rotations at least in PVE it's the most sleep-inducing thing ever.
In 8.0 at least to me should be redoing the whole pve combat and introduce elements, type damage, personal LB's, smarter enemies etc.




Sadly, Mao thinkings Mao will never see what Mao hopings for: the end of DDR and the Two-Minute Meta. Devs just seem to keeps on doubling down on it. BUT....IF that were to change, Mao would like see all jobs reworked to has low skill floor and high skill ceiling. Jobs whats players can has funs explorings and whats has many ways to succeed in a fight.


Why?
I think it's fine for some casters to have a raise and for some to not as long as they bring value in other areas instead. BLM and PCT are desirable because they bring high damage. RDM is valuable because it brings a raise. SMN also exists.
RDM is high value in prog but less so in farm and I think that's fine. I would prefer if all jobs had strengths and weaknesses like this.
