Please give us more housing wards/plots

The idea of locking small or medium house players to that size is inherently idiotic. If the XIV team cared so much for prestige, they wouldn't have made Endwalker relics the way they were. Just make every plot the same size, with houses starting small then expandable when the owner pays a certain amount of gil or achieve a certain milestone... like every life simulator game.

That is exactly what they should have done. The history of housing was not built for longevity. It inevitably goes back to the spaghetti code and how they can only build upon what they have already created. That's why they have to be so careful about what they add. At least from my understanding.

I don´t have any intention to switch servers and there is few reasons to that... first of all,we have good fc and second of all i have all my friends here and 3rd reason is that my eternal bond companion is also same server. I don´t want to marry again because i need to pay that again and it´s just waste of money.

i can get that all people would love upgrades to small houses and it was mentioned but what then what happens to people in meds that then want a upgrade or people with larges then wanting an upgrade cause it's not a if this will happen but almost a given this will happen i get the struggle of getting a large house it took me 8 months of bidding but ppl will start complaining their houses wont get upgrades in the end i don't think this will do what they hope this would do true small houses might sell but i don't think this is the best solution hopefully they can think of something better then trying to patch things up like this

My girlfriend has been trying every single cycle since the lottery system came out in April 2022, for a Large, and mediums when no larges were available, and still no success. Many people have been trying longer.

They already mentioned to be thinking about the interior upgrades and I have not seen complaints. "But people will complain" is a bad faith argument without bringing anything to the discussion, besides whining that you want to be able to brag owning a large over those who don't.

We do need instanced housing. Not to replace the ward system, but to take the pressure of it. If only they had included a housing plot on Island Sanctuary, which would functionally allow everything you can do on a ward plot (gardening, placing indoor furniture, decorate, workshop), we'd be there already.

But it will always run up against the business logic - if housing exists in a personal instance like the Island does, there is no longer any reason why players would accept that our houses are demolished if we're unsubbed for over 45 days. SE knows that "I do not want to lose my house" is the reason why we have so many zombie accounts that continue to pay even when they don't play.
