Please give us more housing wards/plots

as of this moment there is ONE medium in all of twintania. and thats not great for an fc building. these plots keep going to venue owners to use as degen-dens and deprive actual fcs or real housing for community events

What they should do is increase the wards based on server size and demand, not one giant lump increase for every world/data center, since we have been hearing complaints about some servers not even having wards filled up.

everyone wants a house but when a small becomes available no one wants to buy it because they want a large, what needs to happen is when they add more wards is to also add more large houses as 1 per ward is clearly not enough since large is the only house everyone seems to want

me personally when ishgard housing went up i went and secured me a small house while everyone else was fighting over the large

make some lots that are only larges or something, there's hundreds of unclaimed smalls out there

I had proposed where they also allow you to upgrade the outside plots too so any plot could be a large. They would have to expand all housing plots to accommodate all larges if they were upgraded, this would go a long way to solving the issue of fighting for current mansions. The only other solution is to move to Dynamis but I understand many players don't want that. I sent my main alt to Seraph when it went live and now has her own P60 Shiro mansion and while it took about 7 years to finally get a personal mansion for my main in Exodus this past June.

This^ 100% agree. We have low inventory on Greg with over 300+ people bidding in every auction on whatever is available. I am on a 7+ month streak of "better luck next time." Some have commented that it took them 5+ years to get a house. Meanwhile, some here have multiple houses, even an entire ward of houses. Moving is not really an option for me, and that is the only option I have - other than quit playing. They need to do something to fix housing. As is, a house is the rarest thing in the game - not a weapon or mount (as it should be). Adding additional wards would be a step in the right direction at least. Instanced housing like the Island would allow everybody to get a house even if for a cost. Win a plot and purchase any size house you want or can afford then have the ability to upgrade it (will something similar happen?). I could even get behind weighting bids in favor of those trying the longest, which would def not be fair to all. Instead, zero is being done now. Maybe in a future patch sometime down the road... Better luck next time!

Oh same, and I traded up for a medium, later, but that smol was good to me for a couple years. Smol hous is better than no hous. Especially if you're in an FC. Take the free house for starts, then worry about getting into a melee for the bigger stuff later.

If I were to guess, *possibly* because they don't want to leave behind playgroups. You could say 'data center transfer', I'll remind you how jank and locked out that is on some servers--especially low pop ones right now.

Or maybe they're in an FC they really like and they don't want to leave it. Or hell, maybe they're planning to do an Eternal Bonding with someone there. There's plenty of potential reasons if you spend five seconds to think about it.

It really would add so many more possibilities to housing, as well as solve the supply issues! Just think of all the things you could do if they weren’t constrained by the server restrictions of the permanently loaded wards! We saw a little hint of that with the Island. If they really want to bring the game up to date for the next 10 years, and make it competitive to others, adding an instanced option should be at the top of the list, since other games that don’t even require a sub offer multiple housing options for all their players.
