I'm still here, still disappointed with how my character looks, still barely touching the alts I used to love dearly.

Same. Luckily my Lala main is close enough to what she was before that I still enjoy playing her. Ended up turning my Highlander alt into a Middie. Just couldn’t deal with the face anymore. Not that Middie Face 1 doesn’t have its own issues… seriously can we fix these mouths missing half their upper lips already?! But it’s a million times better than what they did to my Highlander Face 2. I kept a retainer with her settings, so I’ll be able to see right away if they make any improvements, but honestly I wasn’t willing to wait however many months we have until next patch playing a character that doesn’t look like the same person anymore.

I was keeping an eye (haha.) on Sadu and Allie (who looked nothing like themselves in 7.0 because of the dimmed limbal ring, thankfully that has been somewhat fixed in 7.1), and I noticed that in 7.1 Cirina looks even less like she did before because her dark blue limbal rings glow greyish-blue at night/in the shadow, but I wasn't paying attention to Yugiri, that's a pretty drastic change.

There was a post on the ffxiv subreddit earlier today about Miqo'te eyelashes, and the comments are full of people talking about their dislike of the various changes to whatever race they play. This thread has lost a little momentum lately, mostly because not enough was actually changed with 7.1 to warrant additional rounds of feedback (though I still plan on making one, because midlander F face 1 is still a disaster). But I don't want the devs to get the impression that the dislike of the update is dying down or going anywhere. Many, many more players are unhappy with the changes than just the ones who have posted here. I really hope you are still taking all of our feedback into account and are ready to deliver some ACTUAL adjustments come 7.2, instead of another half-effort.

This, although I switched to Hrothgar and am "happy" with that, I'd still like the developers to understand that I strongly dislike what they did to my old (Roegadyn) face.

Yup. I'm still unhappy and looking forward to the fixes. I hope the dev team is still listening. Not much else to add from my end until the next update.

I'm still here and unhappy with the lack of fixes. No matter how I look at the characters, I can't get used to the uncanny valley expressions and plastic shine of the skin. The only reason why I haven't been posting is because someone on the JP forums has been posting extensively about the male midlander face 6 changes and I'm really grateful they're so clear and detailed. I've been criticized behind my back on social media for talking about the changes so I occasionally look at those posts on the JP forums for reassurance that I'm not crazy or seeing things.

In the meantime, I feel very disconnected from the game and skipping through MSQ and the recent patches was the only way I was going to get through them. Even then, I've probably done about 30% of what the newer patches contain.
