I thought that could be a possibility, too. Uuuuuuntil I tried opening up FFXIV on my laptop, and it patched itself at over 10x the speed. So they can definitely send that data, but there's no settings for Bandwidth on the launcher itself, to limit or remove limits; like you'll see on most other online AAA games. * shrug *
