Why not transfer to one of the new worlds on the Dynamis DC (its free) and bid on one of the many plots still available?

It won't cost you any money and right now there is still many large plots with 0 bids (bidding just ended, too), not to mention thousands of mediums.

Just saying, if it causes you to quit, then what do you have to lose.

This was a rather unhinged read. She's not telling you that transferring is the perfect solution and that nothing needs to change, she's telling you that it could be *your* solution if you want a house badly enough *now* because nothing is about to change any time soon and this is the only real option given the current circumstances. Many of us who really need housing in our lives have taken the plunge, you don't have to give everything up. Communicate with your FC and tell them what you're doing. Cross-DC travel lets you keep your ties with anyone, and if you really wanted to keep your FC membership status in-game you can roll up on an alt to purchase and decorate the house and travel over to it if you prefer to keep your main where it is. It would certainly provide you with a better outcome than drafting angry pre-combat anime speeches at people who are trying to offer help.

I did actually. I also get back to Aether to do my raiding, PvP, etc. I guess I'm one of the rare ones who gets my cake and eats it too.

Everything you've worked for and earned? I'm pretty sure transferring servers doesn't reset your account to level 0. You'd have to leave your FC but that's it.
