The point of internet death threats isn't if they're real or not.
But they're super easy to invent out of thin air.
And then people you can expect to react to poor you with sympathy will shower you good vibes, and performative scorn towards the mean faceless threat maker.
It's good exchange, actually: take internet crap flinging seriously => receive endorsement and support. Alternatively: lie about receiving interwebs hate => receive endorsement and support.
This is not reflection on miss Bryer. She might be in real danger from serious internet hitmen, or then she is not.
