At this point, I believe leaks are done on purpose. It didn't start with TOP. TEA and DSR world first had players using third party tools, and VODs are still up on Youtube to prove it. Reality is, most streamers are using some form of third party tool to gain advantage in raid. They just don't show it on stream.

Square's stance on this has to change. If they're against every mod, start scanning for mods and banning people. Or would this be spending money to stop something that generates profit? I wonder.

From my understanding in Japan it's illegal for companies to scan... "privately owned"? computers so there's that.

At the very least we should have a definition for what's harmful to the game. Defining every mod as illegal and never taking any countermeasure to ban people, outside of leaked screenshots, is always going to cause the situation we have.

If they did that, people using it will still twisting their words to suit themselves. It just doesn't matter.
