Them clearing FRU with mods/plugins/cheats does not affect me in the slightest.

It's even worse, people bash pixel perfect person when clearly they have no eyes to see where their character stands or stuff like pattern on stages/shards on edge helping with positioning.

Maybe ff14 JP community can start gofund me campaign to buy them elon musk's bionic eyes in future (hopefully with ultrawide resolution too)

WFR is entertainment, not meant to be taken seriously or as an E-Sport. People will use plugins, it doesn't matter if they hide them perfectly and noone notices, you need to assume by default they are being used. Any attempts by the hosts, checkers, moderators, people involved are not a guarantee.

This is reality. To believe people aren't using plugins would make you a fool. Period. Even if they aren't, you just can't trust. As such, you are wasting your life being angry about it, because quite simply nobody is ever fixing this permanently.

What worries me about these cheating players, is how rampant is this cheating issue? As I feel its also in Savage, Extremes, PVP etc
And if many players are using cheating tools to make the content easier, but then asks for even more harder and harder content, what happens to players like myself who has never used addons or even modded. I have played XIV since 1.0 and I came from WOW because I felt even in WotLK that Players/Raiders was demanding too many addons to be used or not allowed on their raiding teams.

I remember we did ICC25HC easy 1 one evening after a long farming of everything we wanted and I asked. Next week, can we go in and try ICC again, but everyone turn off all addons, and we barely made it past the first boss as people was soooo reliant on Addons that told them exactly what to do xD

So I hope this doesnt make XIV forces Non-Addon users like myself, to HAVE to start using them in order to do the new raidtiers :/

Imo, they should stop investing time and money on Ultimate fights going forward if people will just cheat anyway. Whenever I now see a player with the Titles and weapons, I cannot help wonder or not he used addons to get these or did it properly. When I know there is cheating involved, it makes me less desired to get these socalled "Legendary" titles and weapons :/

I have to agree.

It is niche content anyway. And the people who engage with the content don't even seem to play it at the intended difficulty. People say they want more difficult content, but their actions speak otherwise.

It seems only a percentage of an percantage is playing it without cheating. The main value of ultimates is the PR FF14 gets out of the world first race and streams, but when the only PR is that everyone is cheating in FF14, then there is nothing to gain here.

I agree. People are just modding/cheating their way through it or straight out buy the kills. There is no need for hard content if people don't want to play it on the intended difficulty.
