i would just like to say that for each patch ifrit and moogle the server was down for an extended time and so dont expect them to reset the time you guys should've took into account server being down like i did when i made my guess (Owned)

I'd say only count maybe the first 30-60min after the initial maintence (since a majority of people COULD log in before that teleport bs started happening), then continue after the emergency maintence.

Count the two hours before maintenance, dont count the 5 hour maintenance, continue counting after maintenance. It ruins nothing.

of course it does. Lets say my friends and I prepared prior to the patch to try to get first kill. With a 5 hour maintenance some would have to go to work, school, etc. It essentially interrupts ppl in the process of trying to win. When the server reopens it will be 5am est and 2am pst. There will be a lot less ppl on trying and ppl who sacrificed their sleep schedule or took time out of their life to try to kill it (yes some ppl do that) will have given up on rushing for it.
