I wouldn't worry about a great exodus, because I looked at the posts you credited in the beginning and looked at the people comments etc., their post history and how far back the post about them "quitting" was.
I would advise everyone else here to look those people up yourself and even look at the people saying they will quit in several weeks or months and look again sometime later if they really did it.

Funnily a lot of them still comment in the forums even after their "supposed quitting". Also a lot of them apparently posted about quitting multiple times and didn't really do it.

I stopped looking at the comments you quoted in your original post, because after some time I saw that a lot of them are still fairly active and it doesn't seem like they really quit FFXIV at all.

Also aren't you blocked from posting here if you have no active subscription? I am personally not sure if this is true.
I also haven't really looked at the post history of everyone of those people, so maybe there are some who really did quit. But apparently none of those i looked at really quit.
I mostly looked at the people who should've quit until now. Not really at the people who said they will quit when their sub runs out in Decembre for example.

But there were some people who said they will quit directly or their sub runs out in 2-3 days.
Even though they said their sub will end in 2-3 days, they were still posting several weeks after they did this post or are still actively posting right now.

You all can check the post history of many people yourself.
If anyone of them will still frequent these forums after their supposed "quitting" you already know it was all a farce to begin with.
