I will post my complaints about it to this thread. I am aware that once again, despite the fact I am paying the same sub fee as everyone else, I am getting access to less because of the race I play and I am not being compensated for it in any other way.

Before any or the usual rebuttals or excuses inevitably show up, I promise you I have heard and read them before. This is yet another thread expressing my disappointment and frustrations that this has yet to be addressed outside of shrinking certain hats or simply moving away from them in recent gear sets.

CBU3 please be aware we are very much aware of the smokescreen every time anyone posts new glam/armor photos in the shop or promotional material that don't feature Viera or Hrothgar and/or don't feature any new headgear on them that other races are wearing without any modifications (Fallguys).

After so many years on behalf of players that genuinely love and appreciate this race. I ask for compensation via unique headgear, unique hairstyles (since some have already been given to other npcs in the game of different races), or small incremental additions of old headgear being wearable during patch cycles.

At minimum, make unique headgear for the races and make new players aware of the limitations before they pick that race to start the game before they suffer the slow burning disappointment as I went through ARR through EW as I remained dedicated to my Viera and realized that no additional support in the mentioned areas seem to be being made. Dawntrail was partially sold on the addition of putting hats and eyewear together. Much to my shock and dismay there aren't many hats/headgear we can actually test this with.

Fellow players, feel free to voice your opinions and additional concerns with Viera and Hrothgar. I will keep this thread alive alone or we can do it together until action is taken. I am tired of saying nothing. If there was development time to address the state of feet in the game there is for this issue in the foreseeable future.

Rightfully so.

There is a mod that simply enables hats for Viera/Hroths and it is SOOO much better even with all the clipping. Maintainted by one random guy. While multimillionaire company cannot fix them since their focking release in Shadowbrigners. Hell, instead, they resorted to simply drowning us in tiaras/facemasks/other stupid crap like cutting off our ears completely in some helmets for the entirety of Endwalker.

How one player can outpeform the whole developer team, this is so silly. Just gives us damn hats, even with all the clipping. As if there are no hairs/tails/horns/whatever getting stuck everywhere already...

Honestly my thing with the hats is that they should at the very least have everything Shadowbringers+ working

That and anything you get in the MSQ as an outfit reward (plus the cash shop, obviously)
I had mentioned before that in Stormblood you have to disguise yourself and you don't even wear the helmet to obscure your face which while funny it does ruin the mood the scene is trying to set

I do appreciate that they have been making some progress and giving altenatives, like the raid set for tanks giving sunglasses or having the fallguys crown be smaller

They don't have the time and money to fix this but somehow had those same things hot and ready to shit out a mobile version of the game nobody asked for. (Which ironically won't include Viera or Hrothgar anyway.)

This company is cooked.

I'm having a hard time believing that SE can't up the budget of FFXIV, if that's what you were going for.
Anyway, I hope this thread leads to something, but I doubt it. The complaints aren't new, they are known and they are being, well, not ignored, but severely under-acknowledged and taken care of.

I understand there are technical limitations related how these particular races work, but they've had years to work on it.

My hope was it was going to be part of the graphical update, and they didn't want to do the work twice... but instead we get a Fanfest where they kept going on and on about how hard they worked on a lalafell's face.

I don't want to put up with 4 more years of this so we can have a 10 year anniversary of races not getting hats. Their workload for this problem grows with EVERY VERSION UPDATE to the game. If they EVER bring out the whole "Oh, its too much work" excuse, please remind them that the least amount of work they would have had to do was when the race freaking released.
