In general, much less meta, more player vs player occur... and the game being much more unpredictable than before.

It was needed, also getting rid of DRK's and whomever else in that cocktail, saying should follow the square/ring or whatever symbol and playing a game abusing a glitched/exploited system.

On Aether/Shatter, this hasn't gone away. I suspect fewer people are using it because: 1) Many are on Primal playing CC ranked; 2) Former DRK+ premade commanders are experimenting with other jobs.

I guess it's possible that on the two good maps DRK efficacy will be greatly reduced and we'll see less "follow the leader then press all your buttons," but the price for that will have been this floaty, disconnected gameplay.

I mean it's nice to see that DRKs are getting absolutely trounced at the moment, but this is a band-aid at best, and the result is not worth the clunkiness, and honestly aside from their absurd survivability, DRK was never the actual problem. It just exposed the wider problem.

Prediction: they're going to make a comeback once commanders have optimized their stack.
