This hurts to read because I loved dueling RDM's in CC. One of my favorite fights was from a person called Ratge-something, I forgot the second half of their name. Flying back and forth as RDM, using corners, avoiding our team, finally BTFO's me after whittling me down a little and laughs at my body, but it was FUN. It was fast reactions, high damage, high stakes, I enjoyed it a LOT. RDM's are a lot of fun to fight against. Now everything is a damage pad. Everyone feels like scholar.

I hate the changes. They appeal to frontline players who que for exp and dont want to die. Everyone becomes a damage padder, no one has carry potential, no one can one shot, everyone is "happy". Machinist losing one shot combo and gaining an irrelevant and useless "movement" skill (full metal machinist) while charging up an almost as irrelevant thing to use in CC (dynamite combo) is just a meme. It was an afterthought. Yes you could use it for big damage but everyone sees it coming a mile away, and I enjoyed using it when I could, but that does not compensate for the wet noodle LB we have now.
MNK is another example of wet noodle flying around the map doing nothing. You dance and can't hunt down the dangerous squishies anymore. Healers have more front potential because heal + damage + no one being able to contest with high damage. DPS are doing just slightly higher damage, nerfed with no heals/shields. Square would look at my post and reply with "LETS GIVE DPS HEALS AND SHIELDS!" because they seem to be designing around the loudest complainers instead of trying to understand what makes the game fun.
Overall extremely sad, they took the fast fun engaging PvP and made it dull. Don't care if they want to appeal to frontliners who just que for XP, please revert the changes for CC. But they won't.
They killed fast and fun CC for me at least and its one less reason to stay subbed. Maybe some will enjoy it, personally hate it.
