    Black Mage
    Personally, I think [Fire (I)] and [Blizzard (I)] should auto-upgrade to [Fire III] and [Blizzard III].
    - Elemental Soul: Action change settings enabled to switch [Elemental Soul] to [Astral Soul] while under the effect of [Astral Fire] - or - [Umbral Soul] while under the effect of [Umbral Ice].
    - Spell IV: Action change settings enabled to switch [Spell IV] to [Fire IV] while under the effect of [Astral Fire] - or - [Blizzard IV] while under the effect of [Umbral Ice].
    - High Spell V: Action change settings enabled to switch [High Spell V] to [Flare] while under the effect of [Astral Fire] - or - [Freeze] while under the effect of [Umbral Ice].
    - Darkness: Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 140 to all nearby enemies. Additional Effect: Blind
    - Darkness III: Deals unaspected damage with a potency of 150 to all nearby enemies. Additional Effect: Blind

    Summoner
    - Carbuncle: Bring back at least some [Pet Actions] or give Carbuncle some kind of auto-attack.
    - Ruin > Gemshine: Action change settings enabled to switch [Ruin] to [Gemshine] while under the effect of [Elemental Attunement].
    - Tri-Disaster > Gemshine: Action change settings enabled to switch [Outburst/Tri-disaster] to [Precious Brilliance] while under the effect of [Elemental Attunement].

    More Egi Summons: I know it's been discussed a lot, but I will never give up on it! At least bring in the remaining ARR primals. After Trance concludes the players are given a resource to summon up to three out of six Egi (Garuda, Ifrit, Titan, Leviathan, Ramuh, Shiva) - or have them alternate following Bahamut/Phoenix. Ideally, all six would have unique abilities as well, so that they're more than just reskins.
    - More Glamours for Carbuncle/Egi.

    Red Mage
    Personally, I'd have to see Red Mage have access to the remaining elements.
    - Verblizzard: Deals ice damage. {Replace either Verthunder (or Verthunder II) with Verblizzard. (If Verthunder is replaced, drop the II from Verthunder II.)}
    - Verwater: Deals water damage. {Replace either Veraero (or Veraero II) with Verwater. (If Veraero is replaced, drop the II from Veraero II.)}
    - Vercomet: Deals unaspected damage. {Replace fire-aspected Verflare with unaspected Vercomet.}
    Alternatively I also wouldn't mind if Red Mage was changed up so that their elemental spells flowed similarly to the Pictomancer's spells.
    - [Verfire]: Deals fire damage. Action change setting enabled to switch [Verfire] to [Verblizzard] while under the effect of [Black Mana].
    -- [Verblizzard]: Deals ice damage. Action change setting enabled to switch [Verblizzard] to [Verthunder] while under the effect of [Black Mana].
    --- [Verthunder]: Deals lightning damage.
    - [Veraero]: Deals wind damage. Action change setting enabled to switch [Veraero] to [Verstone] while under the effect of [White Mana].
    -- [Verstone]: Deals earth damage. Action change setting enabled to switch [Verstone] to [Veraqua/Verwater] while under the effect of [White Mana].
    --- [Veraqua/Verwater]: Deals water damage.

    Pictomancer
    While I understand that VPR & PCT are new, they both feel as if they were built around one or two sets of actions.
    Motif + Muse
    - Creature Motif > Living Muse: Action change settings enabled to switch [Creature Motif] to [Living Muse] when a [Motif is depicted on the Canvas].
    - Weapon Motif > Steel Muse: Action change settings enabled to switch [Weapon Motif] to [Steel Muse] when a [Motif is depicted on the Canvas].
    - Landscape Motif > Scenic Muse: Action change settings enabled to switch [Landscape Motif] to [Scenic Muse] when a [Motif is depicted on the Canvas].
    Subtractive Palette
    - Fire in Red > Blizzard in Cyan: Action change settings enabled to switch [Fire in Red] to [Blizzard in Cyan] while under the effect of [Subtractive Palette].
    - Fire II in Red > Blizzard II in Cyan: Action change settings enabled to switch [Fire II in Red] to [Blizzard II in Cyan] while under the effect of [Subtractive Palette].
    - Holy in White > Comet in Black: Action change settings enabled to switch [Holy in White] to [Comet in Black] while under the effect of [Black Paint] & [Monochrome Tones].
    New Spells
    - New Actions/Spells: PCT needs a stand-alone action or two - perhaps a spell to [blind] opponents with paint.
    Personally, my biggest gripe for Pictomancer is that there doesn't exist a Byakko's Enspirited PCT weapon, I mean it's animation effect is literally brush strokes.

    While this would be amazing (and Scholar fairies right with it), one of the few universal rules of all MMORPGs so far has been that pet jobs get removed, and only ever removed.

    This can take many forms, the kind of trivialized "it's just external graphics for what is essentially a raid buff" like the 3s interval smart heal (because in other games we just called it that) that is a modern Scholar Fairy to the just-a-minipet-to-look pretty of Summoner Carbuncle. It could even be that the pet still exists, still gets commands, but for mechanical purposes the game just renders things as if the pet did them, the entire engine just sees the pet owner (another aspect of modern Fairy).

    Why this is so utterly consistent across so many games? Hard to say, but it's one of the few truly consistent elements and hence can probably be accepted as a base rule of MMORPG design and evolution. Pet jobs are in fresh games, and as a game ages, get trivialized or removed or retooled. Even the Necromancer of DAoC, a concept where you became the pet more or less, was changed because of the mechanical issues due to the casting queue of the pet.
