Where's the love for Limsa?

So devs, why do you guys hate La Noscea? I mean as a Lominsan I'm personally offended by the lack of content for my region! We have no Primals, a single stronghold that no one likes, an open-world lvl 20 dungeon that hardly anyone ever uses and that's it. I mean hell, two of the guilds in the city are for classes that don't even exist!

Our region is so devoid of content that bots simply run free without being seen. Take a look at the barren expanses of Cedarwood and Bloodshore. They're filled to the brim with bots and little else. If it wasn't for Cobalt Ore, I doubt anyone would even come here.

However I suppose I could forgive you guys if you get that bastard Stahlman to give me my gun back. Make it happen SE.

The city is epic, the name of the city is epic, the region is temperate and the air smells good.
...maybe that's why, La Noscea must remain a small vacation paradise filled with pirates.

That said, if they add drunken pirate fights in the inn, I'm sure the city will become #1 overnight. xD

My first love is Gridania but i also like Limmy (or limey if ye be a sea far'in scallywag)

Pirate jokes aside. The landscape is beautiful. But like near every area in FF14, its missing geographical changes.

Limmy could use some clumps of trees just to break up the flowing flat land instead of always using stacked rock slabs. ( i get it, old seabed) Sections containing high grass (wheres the lala? "Down here!") Small valleys filled with wildflowers.
And a real prarie secton with actual HERDS of aldgoats running from spot to spot.

Ul'dah could definately use a true oasis or two, along with spaces besides the reddest rock imaginable. A section of white sand. More variation of colors in the rock layers, etc.

Gridania has the most going on asfar as breaking up flat lines if it wasn't a network of tunnels. Theres alot of variation you can do with a forest. A rocky Pine section, a wet more tropic/swamp (are we near the equator?) If the tunnels go poof the open areas they put in will look more natural and pleasing.

It seems they are looking at things like this for the map remake for 2.0. I just hope they don't get into the thinking that x area must entirely look like Y. Some variation within a certain area does alot for a game map.

I won't even begin to lie, my want for musketeer overshadows my want for Limsa stuff.

That said, I do genuinely love Limsa, and I'd love more content there. So I suppose I sorta off-topic'd this conversation.

I got sick of limsa after the alpha and beta grind there, I'm debating wether I wanna see Dalamud hit there or Gridania.

It's the same reason people keep going to Jita for cheap stuff. Until we get new cities or more players, Ul'dah is gonna stay "the place" which sucks 'cause I hate that city.

The only thing keeping me with Limsa is Y'shtola.

All the NPCs there with their accents... seriously took me 3 weeks after the game came out t find out "Cudas" meant Barracudas... If they are gonna have accents give them voice actors. That, or take the "dig bicks" outta their mouths so I can read what they say right.
