I find this kinda hilarious. Did they really not like the fact that top was cleared without healers? And makes me remember when that happened , so many people were like "Oh it's o ly one group..." etc etc

Has multiple reasons.

- prevents 2x PCT and/or 2x DRK from being the best choice for damage purposes
- prevents 2x PLD shenanigans with Cover like in the healerless "The Omega Protocol (Ultimate)" or at least I assume so.
- straight up middle finger to Bahamut Ultimate tank-only clears

My thoughts, too. It just looks bad and feels bad when you see other players trivializing content or roles via gimmicks despite the skill required to beat Ultimates. I’m pretty sure that infamous TOP run was part of what started the “healer strikes,” right?

Yup, rather than addressing the imbalance of PCT and the diminished role of Healers, they're opting for the quick "fix" with this. I can't wait to see non-standard comps get their clears anyways.
