Just imagine this kind of system is implemented for open world content for all DT zones.. DT won't be that much flop IMO

Agreed. A new story arc would have been the perfect time to experiment more with gameplay and innovation. Instead the open world content stagnates and rots expansion after expansion, and (content like) Bozja, despite being very fun, dies out because it's instanced content that won't get any more updates come the next expansion. A shame.

They have actually improved this in ShB, EW and DT with gemstone rewards. You can farm the ET and DT ones for gemstone vouchers to get mounts and other rewards. In any case, they make older FATEs useful for older relic grinds.

That's all fine and good, but it does not make the FATEs any more FUN. I'd rather pull from my savings and buy the gemstones exclusives for 50m gil each than invest the time needed getting the vouchers myself by doing the same 2-3 FATEs across 18 zones.
