FFXIV, please stop clothing your men.

See the thing that pisses me off about this is the players say, "Hey, we really don't like gender locked clothing. We want to be able to wear the same sets regardless of gender."

And then the devs go, "Okay." [make nothing but "gender neutral" masculine sets like the last few All Saint's Wake clothes sets rather than ever letting a male character wear shorts or a skirt without paying for it in the cash shop.]

It's like there's one dude on the art team who's a 'phobe and gets the icky feeling if they have to see a male character in feminine leaning clothes, so no one can have nice things just because this one person says so, and we only get gender unlocked stuff when they're out on vacation.

The DT Reaper artifact gear makes my character look like a drag queen. I don't wear it because of that, but I've seen plenty of people with male characters who are wearing it for that exact reason.

Funnily enough, the DT Black Mage artifact gear is damn near the only masculine caster clothing in the entire game.

After the ruffled curtains that was EW's white mage gear, I'm just glad that DT's White Mage clothing ended up respectable enough for a male priest to wear.
