God, I feel like the gear gets uglier and uglier. I am still rocking my same glams from Shadowbringers because nothing has come out that is remotely good looking. I will rock my Warg Saroul pants as a DNC forever.

Gender equality would be a nice feature... if ladies needs to be skimpy, so does men... and so on and so forth.

But with glamours and such it is easy to bypass, however the fashion is very limited in FFXIV as SE want to keep it rounded up around the cash shop

We recently got some updates on the 7.1 patch and with it some pictures of gear from the new dungeon (references below. See: WAR and middle gearset). Idk why this time specifically is my breaking point, but I'm going to add my voice to what has been said so many times before:

FFXIV team, PLEASE stop making gendered differences to the same pieces of gear. It's a near universal complaint I've seen in my 4 and a half years of playing this game and, while I'm very glad that a lot of glamour pieces got their gender-locks removed over the years, this specific complaint has never so much as been addressed.

The glamour system is great because it let's you choose from a large catalogue of pieces from throughout the 10 years of this game. That being said, if I want my character to wear pants I will pick pants, and if I want my character to wear shorts I will pick shorts. With respect, please stop limiting our options.

In the same vein please let me put pants (and other male-locked pieces of clothings) on my female characters when I want to. The amount of time I've seen a cool pair of trousers on a male character only for them to turn into panties and stockings and the like on a female character is annoying.
Same goes for nice tops. I really want the male version of the casual attire body piece for my female WoLs for example. :/
Please SE, let everybody have cool stuff. Everybody wins.

I'd really like to have the male Neo Ishgardian sets on my female midlander, while still being able to use female set on my female au ra.... The power of choice, SE.... give it to us. Please let us exchange the m/f sets like we are able to for the wedding sets and other gender unlocked gear. Hell, I wouldn't even mind farming or crafting them again. Just let us choose!
