thats kinda my problem with the skip. You are forced to pay for skipping on an alt what you did once or even multiple times. Stuff like this should be free in my opinion. I mean WoW solved this without a cash shop item and they want 60$ for a level skip. let that sink.

There is a fundamental problem with Story Skips, it doesn't level your character up. A lot of people tend to forget, the first class you level actually levels incredibly slow. However, you rarely notice because all classes of a lower level get a substantial exp boost that isn't shown, similar to how Blu gets an substantial EXP boost when leveling in the Open World. So really when you do a story skip, all your doing is saying "I'm gonna grind dungeons instead of doing the story" as it will take about the same amount of time (possible even longer), or you know you also buy that Level Skip. Take yourself all the way to Level 90 for the low low price of $25. That's on top of the $25 your spending for that skip. So $50.

Unfortunately, as long as SE can make a cool $25 off of any player opting to skip the insane grind that is six expansion's worth of MSQ, there will never be a free skip option. Why would there be? It's a clear conflict of interest. If you don't want to spend a month or so (tentative estimate, assuming you no-life the game hard and skip everything possible) mashing your escape key and waiting for black screens to fade out before walking from NPC 1 to NPC 2 to repeat the process, your only recourse is to give SE money. It's literally them creating a problem and selling a solution. Don't forget to pick up a job skip too for an extra $25 unless you want to grind roulettes and dungeons like a peasant for the same length of time. Only $50 to get an alt up to the beginning of Dawntrail; what a steal!
