Doubt it. They usually decide things 8 months in advance or more, which is why a lot of feedback doesn't get incorporated for a whole expansion (2.5 years currently).

Something to keep in mind is that companies usually have "oh shit" sales waiting in the wings. This isn't to say that they're "desperate" per se, but my guess is they're probably not hitting internal quarterly goals. At my old job, we would always have sales which had popular/requested items that were always rare specifically so we could put them in packs to sell to hit goal.

Honestly my biggest issue is this totally negates a good past reward of the Bozjan Earring that had a 10% exp boost below level 80 ( but you had to be level 71 to equip it for some reason). I would have preferred to see that buffed with the level restriction removed and more things made like it as rewards over just outright selling a past pre-order reward on the mogstation.

It wouldn't surprise me if most people who got the Bozjan Earring, got it for the +3 haste it gives in Bozja areas.

Just want to point out that the exp bonus from the earrings also applies when getting level synced into its range (90 or lower for Azeyma's, 80 or lower for Menphina's). So they'll always be useful until you run out of jobs to level (or exclusively level in lvl 91+ content).

The earring being in this pack doesn't bother me (keeping things from others has never been my m.o.), what does is this is the kind ish you see a ftp crap mobile game NOT a subscription based mmo, what's next? Potions that give a large damage boost in raids? Gear with better stats then crafted? And to anyone saying but what about level/story boosts? I've ALWAYS been against those too, same with renting more retainers (this one REALLY bugs me).

Are you implying that an earring with an EXP bonus is somehow a slippery slope to them adding those kinds of potions, or gear with better stats than crafted? This isn't exactly new, the cash shop has had gear with EXP bonus as far back as September 2016, when they added the Far Eastern Garb. This set has a bonus that gives you 30% exp when below lvl 30 (which also works on crafters/gatherers), released at a time when the lvl cap was 60. What's next is probably gonna be similar to what they've been doing with the cash shop for nearly a decade, the usual cosmetic stuff.

Personally don't really have an issue with the bundle, since it's basically a fantasia with added incentive.

Because you get the perks four years in advance? Personally, I think they could have just made the earrings free but c'est la vie. Do you really value the exclusivity of a now obsolete EXP earring that you've likely tossed in the armoire years ago, never again to see the light of day, that much?

I'm all for criticism the mog station. Especially more recently with all the crap they keep adding. However, this is a quantum level leap. Like I said above, the EXP earring is entirely obsolete to pretty much everyone who preordered it four years ago. Suggesting they'll go from that to stat boosters and Savage gear is, frankly, ridiculous.

literally 0 care at all.
But, i don't want to see this game become more like a f2p game with a sub on top.

Considering that people new to the game have to catch up on several expansions, and considering a lot of them may want to eventually level cap their character, I actually think this is a really good deal, and have no problem with it at all.

It would be desperation if they were to charge you upwards of £12.99, but this price is actually a steal.

this is funny again. So SE makes a move which is upsetting some people so lets post how fine we all are with that move instead of listen to the other ones. I clearly can see why its upsetting people and why not. thing is the 30% exp boost is not the point why its getting a bad flag here. If its just the 30% earring i dont see the issue why it have to be this item instead of a new one ? i mean they expect people to pay for it so a bit of work here would be nice. You can argue if its border you or not but fact is this was an item you get only for supporting this game period, there was no other way and this is what makes it problematic. If you take away something limited from players which makes an item less rare they will be upset. It doesnt matter how usefull or old this item is or even how many use it. So my question is why not just make an item, a fresh one with the same buff ? I know now its to late for it but idk it feels scammy to see how this game offers old reused items for 7$ putting in 0 work into it and just take away the rarity of an pre order item. Think about it before posting BuT nEw PlAyErS.

Why would it matter whether it's this earring, or whether it's a brand new earring titled "Adventurer's Earring", especially if it is literally the same effect? I don't see why this would change absolutely anything.

It would be the exact same thing "Why do we now have a purchasable item that offers the same properties as the Memphina Earring, and I am sorry, but rarity?!? It's a levelling item that gets relegated to the armory chest.
