Previous Series PvP Gear is still not available

I think that in all cases, items you can no longer obtain hurts the game in the long run. There will be a sense of FOMO that tires active players while potential newcomers go "I missed my chance for this content, so I'm less interested."
Obviously this happens to different extents. I think far less people are concerned about, say, 1 pre-order minion. But a lot of the PvP items have been very cool, very neat, and very disheartening if you missed them.

I was fortunate enough to already be active when PvP Series were implemented, so I was able to get most (but not all) of the rewards, including several emotes that now make me think "why doesn't everyone have access to this?"
As far as the Series are concerned, I hope they return and become available to all who play PvP. It could be sold for wolf marks, could be sold for trophy crystals, I just hope the option will be there, so nobody has to look at it and say "it's a shame I missed my chance at this."

If people are that against previous items being made available for players who weren't playing at the time (which... idk why that matters so much), what SE could do is make them exchangeable for wolf collars for roughly the equivalent amount it took to grind for them originally?

On another note I wish they would rerelease or make a reskin of the Eagle/Wolf coats but considering how they were originally obtained that is probably a pipe dream.

I'm under the assumption that they will be reintroduced in either 7.1, or 7.2. Hard to predict what SE is planning.

If/When they do come back I expect either they will bump the crystal capacity + sell them for crystals, or put them for sale for wolf collars. I doubt any of the previous rewards will be put on the Mogstation. It's more likely they'll be a considerable grind that will require many, many hours of PvP to attain.

I like the ideas I've seen about buying them with trophy crystals or wolf collars and having the limit be high so that it'd still require grinding
Would definitely take a lot of the FOMO out of the system
I have all the rewards so far and they're not anything I would consider prestigious, given that you really only have to do a lot of PvP to get it, rather than the feast rewards of needing to be certain ranks

I don't know why they haven't yet, given that there should be plenty of past rewards to add to the shop

They really should add the old PvP rank reward gear to the Trophy Crystal vendor... The mounts and other rewards, those can probably remain exclusive if Square absolutely wants to have something no player can ever obtain again...

But the FoMo season rewards do not deserve to remain unobtainable. It took no skill and only required participation within a 4 month or so period to earn them. If they were ranked rewards, I wouldn't mind. Infact I think more people would participate in ranked PvP if there were FoMo rewards that were guaranteed to go away forever. There is nothing that gets PvP degenerates to no life and grind towards than something exclusive they can flex on other players with.

I think wolf collars is a good idea. It'd give them something of value to be turned in for and I don't think they should be a quick and easy grind.

As someone who missed out on playing the Feast, I'm also OK with this. It's a bummer to not be able to get them, but I also do think the folks who were there deserve the stuff to retain its exclusivity. Stuff introduced from CC onwards though? Definitely needs to be made available (I say this as someone who has been playing CC from the start and has all the rewards).

They're dedicated to not adding any new wolf mark rewards more interesting than materia. I think Shadowbringers was the last time anything else was added to that pool.
